Spotted this stall the other day and swear that I’ll be back to try their wanton noodles. Reason? I saw Pork Collar char siew. Then I thought it could be part of a special order or something, hell no! It’s the char siew they use for their noodles!!! Maituliao, Lim Peh is back here to check it out. To my surprise, it’s better than I thought!!! Found out also they have been operating for more than 20 years! See comments below!

Rating: 5/5

Taste: I seldom give wanton noodles full rating but this plate of noodles won me over. Noodles were supple and springy, sauce is blended nicely balancing the sweet and savoury, the pork collar char siew was heavenly (can be a little more charred will be best) and last but not least, the wantons… normally only fatty minced meat right? This one has shrimps in them! No shit, shrimps! So much effort!

Portion: Noodle portion a bit little for me lah cos so delicious right! Big eaters please ask for ‘Ma Dai’, which means double the noodles!
