Another little gem which I’ve discovered recently when I was in Toa Payoh to get some consultation on my new HDB flat application. I was walking towards Tim Ho Wan for a quick snack before I head on to my other foodtrail destination when I came across this little not more than 300sft shop at the ground floor of Hersing Centre. I walked passed it as it was very crowded during lunch time, and headed up for some dim sums. After my dim sums, I was heading down to check them out again and there was a seat. So I decided to give them a try.
回味之家 or The Home Restaurant was set up just in April 2016 by 2 partners who are former flight attendants. Driven by passion and his Ah Ma’s recipes, Jordan, the Chef partner, decided to start this little place to share these great home cook dishes with all of us.

Taste: Very homely. Taste really good as well. Can’t wait to try the rest of the items!
Portion: Average.
Service: Confirm good lah, they handle the toughest customers 35000ft in the air.
Ambience: Small and can be crampy for a big guy like me. 😁
