The 1925 Microbrewery & Restaurant – Jalan Besar, Singapore

Came to know about this place while I was searching for a place to chill and dine with my colleagues on of the Friday nights. Found this place, which opened sometime in May this year only. We shared a cab and arrived at the bistro and it was already crowded, even though I’ve booked a table. We waited for a while, went upstairs and was given a table after some waiting.

Dark and light ales. They have 5 type of self-brewed beers which were not on the menu. Why? So I can't remember the names of the drinks I had.

Rating: 3.5/5. Didn’t meet my expectations and food is a little on the high side.

Taste: Taste was good overall, especially the Aglio Olio and lattes (I had 2). I’m not much of a drinker and can’t comment much on the beers. But they are really bitter according to my friends. Prolly not mature yet in terms of brewing?

Portion: Average.

Service: Service was very good by this part-time waiter Iskandar. Very knowledgeable on the items the restaurant is selling.

Ambience: Upstairs was a little warm, maybe because of the high ceiling. A little too dark also, had to depend on the tea lights to see what I was eating.

Price: See pics.

RTE: Maybe.
