孖寶车仔面 @ Kwai Fong, Hong Kong
This place is highly recommended by my friend and people who lives around there. It’s basically a street stall inside a shopping mall. When you reach Kwai Fong MTR station, you have to walk on the link bridge and turn right to the older mall. If not clear better ask ‘cos I will get lost too. It was about 9pm but the business was still very good. This place I can conclude is totally unknown to tourists!

Was told by the lady I cannot take photos of the stall... but... what's there to hide??? It's just menu hanging everywhere... sigh...

My order of noodles with beef brisket, cheesy cocktail sausage and squid balls. HKD$30. Basically you can choose whatever ingredient you like to add to your base plain noodles.

So I ordered a braised chicken leg with curry fishballs. The leg damn nice... for only HKD$13 each. Balls same same like anywhere else lah.
Rating: 4/5. Initial attitude was not there but service at the tables were good.
Taste: Nice and tasty… especially the chicken leg! Yums!
Portion: Average
Price: Stated with the pics
RTE: When I’m around the area.
Location: See last picture. If lost, must ask!
新港鱼蛋王 @ Yuen Long, NT, HK
The problem with not regular blogging is that you would have a lot of backlogs of reviews to write about and at the same time not realising that your blogsite has more than 10,000 unique hits! Great to know that those that hit my site are not just from Singapore but from the Asia Pacific region! Hence I had to pul myself out of bed and start clearing what I have documented and hope you guys like it as well! ;P
Was in Yuen Long again for food and I actually like being there discovering lots of good food in the area. I have HK friends that even ask me, what the hell are you doing in Yuen Long??? Just because it’s far from the city, it doesn’t mean that it’s not happening. It’s happening for me though… food wise! ;P Checked out this place fishball place before and this time decided to review them.

Selection of different seafood paste which you can buy home to cook with your noodles or a la carte.
Rating: 4.5/5
Taste: Freshness is in the air… the balls are really nice… the fish noodles is not bad but I reckon it’s just a gimmick. I’ll have normal noodles anytime.
Portion: Average
Price: HKD$46 for 2 bowls
RTE: I might… but there are so many choices in Yuen Long!
Location: See last pic.
譚仔云南米缐@Wan Chai, Hong Kong
I was in Hong Kong recently and noticed this little eatery near the hotel I was staying with crowds almost every time when I walk pass. So I decided to check out what the heck they are selling. Basically they have different types of noodles, with a basic clear broth, then you can choose to make it 麻辣, 酸辣 or 煳辣 (Ma La Spicy, Sourish Spicy or Peppery Spicy) then you choose your ingredients from the beef/pork/fish balls to bean skins, black fungus, mushrooms, vegetables, meat, etc. The broth looks plain at first but the taste is really good! Check it out:

My choice of Ma La Soup with loads of veg. Looks plain right? But the broth is really good and very very spicy.

Mid-section wings. 3pcs for HKD$18. Very very nice... basically every table has this for side dish cos it's so good!
Rating: 5/5
Taste: Very nice and tasty. But spicy. Becareful.
Portion: Above average.
Price: Total HKD$56.
RTE: Yes I would but if I’m there I rather save my stomach for the beef brisket nearby.
